As an artist-activist (artivist), I engage in activism through a variety of creative practices that include social justice photography, resemiotization, video capture and editing, digital media production and collage (photomontage and assemblage). I have also exhibited my research in photography exhibits as a form of knowledge mobilization.

I’ve spent time in urban areas people tend to avoid: back alleys, garage lane ways and abandoned structures. As I’ve looked for street art to photograph I’ve documented human experiences in these forgotten places, such as a box of seemingly worthless objects that appears to have been curated with care.
